I tend to apply alot like Stacie. Mainly tho I just use two colors. A lighter for all over and then I blend a darker color into the crease, but not all the way to the inner corner, maybe 2/3 of the way in. Top it off with eyeliner and mascara and I’m done.

I like to take a light color and brush it in the arch of my eyebrow, inner corner of my eyelid and under my eye. I take a darker color and blend it into the crease. I take an accent color and outline along the very outer edge of my eye and then into the crease and the lower outer portion of my eye. Blend it all. That’s my complicated 3 color version.
I have a cream eyeshadow I just use on my lid with eyeliner for my “in a hurry” days.
So fun to see what everyone does with eyeshadow. It’s not as straight forward as it first appears.
