I am not pregnant, but those clothes are so cute I almost wish I was. I love that maternity clothes have gotten more stylish. I wore much more fitted stuff with my fifth pregnancy than with my first. I felt so feminine and beautiful. Congratulations on your growing family!

You're not the only pregnant Chic Critique blogger! I'm at 31 weeks right now and deep into the maternity wear... and not liking it very much. The 'real waist' stuff at Old Navy always falls down throughout the day if I can get it over my belly in the first place. The pants that fit best for me have been the full belly panel ones at Motherhood.

Actually, the thing that drives me the most nuts is that they have very little selection at the brick-and-mortar stores. It seems I have very bad luck purchasing clothing online. It either doesn't fit or looks completely different on my body than I imagined. Thankfully I have stuff from my first pregnancy and hand-me-downs from a friend to get me through the next 2 months!

Thank you and thank you. I have been on the hunt for cute maternity stuff but because I'm not quite big enough yet at 12 weeks for full fledged maternity, I feel like I'm wearing a tarp every time I try something on. I have been searching for maternity bermuda shorts though and those first ones are perfect!!

Well bless your heart, you must get that little basketball belly. I have never been able to get Old Navy maternity to fit my belly. I have better luck at Motherhood, especially with the new...oh....forget what it's called. But it's a new waistband that is sooo stretchy. But of course, I always tend to measure 4-6 weeks larger, so it's a challenge to find ANY maternity clothes that fit.

Congrats to you!!!!

Yeah, Motherhood can go either way. I have to dig there. But what I have bought has held up, maybe I have better luck or I'm just overly picky with what I actually purchase. I wonder if it makes a difference being in two different countries - sometimes they are also made in different places. I tend to not shop there for basics, just fun stuff I wear a handful of times.

I saw the first line of this post and immediately when to check my Google reader. How could I have missed your big announcement?! It hasn't updated since just after your big move. I thought it was fine since I got the next post of yours! YIKES! I'm so sorry I'm late in the congratulations! I'm headed off to fix my reader now.

As far as maternity clothes go, I got most of my basics from Old Navy. If you have a Ross in your area, they have some really cute stuff really cheap. Like really really cheap. It's fairly cheeply made, but it'll get you through 9 m onths. Did I mention it was really really cheap?

Hey Mariah! I'm a fellow chic-critiquer and I'm 28 weeks. I have to say although some of their stuff is cute the Motherhood stuff I bought was very low quality and I was seriously disapointed with them. I LOVE Isabella Oliver stuff (ebay is a good deal), I got a couple of Gap tops that I love and recently grabbed an Old Navy dress in plum that I have gotten a bazillion compliments on. I'm in Canada and we have a company called Thyme Maternity here and 75% of my stuff comes from them - same prices as MM but way better quality!
