Shaper Hairspray – My Old Friend

Growing up with Aqua Net gave me a love for hairspray and over the years I have tried many!  Pumps, aerosols, extra hold, flexible hold, volumizing, anti-frizz, finishing, freezing – oh so many choices.

But my favorite over the last 10 + years has been good old Sebastian Shaper hairspray (though it’s actually called a styling spray).  I have tried others, but keep coming back to the huge can.  It shshaper2apes; it holds; it makes me happy!  There are other great hairsprays out there – many wonderful ones and I know I would find (after many tries) others that I like.  But I can count on Shaper.  It’s dependable, makes me look good, and is always available – like an old friend.

Shaper hairspray is fairly inexpensive considering the huge size can it comes in and I often find it on sale or use a coupon for it at Ulta.  Sometimes I buy the trial size can for travel purposes – that huge can takes up shoe space in the suitcase!

To give you a better idea of how Shaper hairspray helps me, here are before and after photos for you:

And those photos aren’t even retouched!  LOL!!  :)   My face might look a little thinner with the flat hair, but I prefer to look like I actually do have some volume in my hair – since it’s so thin and fine.

People won’t love the same hairsprays (which is why there are about a gazillion of them) because they are looking for different features.  But if you are looking for some shaping with flexible hold and no stickiness in a huge can – I highly recommend Shaper hairspray!

Now go use some hairspray, put on some lipstick and have a beautiful day!

Lisa  :)

Wow that difference really is noticeable! I have fine, thin hair too, so I feel your pain.

I had to quit using hairspray as soon as I moved along the beach. There is always and I mean always a breeze and my hair used to stand straight up if I had hairspray in it! LOL. Now that would be a good after picture wouldn’t it! But you look FABULOUS my friend. Do I get extra Top Commentator points for this comment? LOL. Can you manually add this to my count! Are you laughing my friend since you are the only one who knows what I’m talking about?
HUGS!
Kim
