I've been thinking about getting myself a second set of brushes for my gym bag. I can get a whole set of these brushes at Target for $10 and they are more environmentally friendly? That is at least worth trying.

My more expensive eye brushes are made with a shorter and stiffer type of bristle, which could be why they seem as soft as these new bigger brushes.

I meant why they DON'T seem as soft.

I should have said

Good point about the eye brushes, Erin. I don't have any of the Eco brushes for my eyes.

The true test in a make-up brush is how long it lasts. So, I will have to write an update on these Ecotools in a year or so. :) I just hope they are as soft as they are now and don't shed.

Thanks for stopping by my friends!

I was in the same predicament about a month ago. The set that I thought I wanted was $80. I saw an ad in a magazine, and bought the ECO brush set at Walgreens. I don't think the eye brushes are quite as soft as my old ones, but they're definitely ok, and much cheaper...

I am in dire need of a new blush brush. I'm pretty sure I've had mine for five years, and it is falling apart. Guess I'll be off to Ulta this weekend! Thanks Janel!
