I don't have any of the Eco brushes for my eyes. My more expensive eye brushes are made with a shorter and stiffer type of bristle, which could be why they seem as soft as these new bigger brushes. The true test in a make-up brush is how long it lasts. So, I will have to write an update on these Ecotools in a year or so. :) I just hope they are as soft as they are now and don't shed. The set that I thought I wanted was $80. I saw an ad in a magazine, and bought the ECO brush set at Walgreens.
